The online system for applications for a place in the Reception Class for September 2020 has now closed. If you need to make a late application please use this form.
The Department for Education has passed emergency regulations that introduce flexibility in the way that appeals are held, given the current social distancing measures in place. They have also amended some of the deadlines surrounding the timescales. The Governing Body has appointed an independent clerk who will deal with appeals using written representations before bringing an independent panel together remotely. Appeals will be scheduled as soon as possible.
If you live in Worcestershire and your child is due to start school in Reception in September 2021 the online system for making an application is not yet open. You will need an email address. If you do not have access to the internet, you can use computers at any Worcestershire library.
If you would like your child to join Astley School at any other point in their primary school career, you should apply using the CA1 form.
If you reside outside of Worcestershire but wish to apply to a Worcestershire school, you must complete an application provided by the Local Authority relevant to the child's home address. Your Local Authority will ensure that application details are passed onto Worcestershire LA for consideration in the allocation of school places.
