Each pupil’s academic progress is measured termly against a set of objectives in reading, writing, mathematics and R.E. Children's attainment is judged against a set of objectives for their year group and can be described as EMERGING, DEVELOPING, SECURE or EXCEEDING.
Progress and targets are shared with children through conversations and bookmarks. This enables each child to understand what steps they need to take next in their learning to be successful.
Progress is shared with parents during consultation evenings and in the written report at the end of the year.
In addition, children in Year Two and Year Six complete National Curriculum tests. These tests take place in May and are administered by the class teacher. You can click on the Year Two and Year Six videos or download the KS1 and KS2 information booklets to find out more.
