Classes
Classes
Our classes are named after trees – Ash, Elm, Oak and Willow – reflecting our nurturing and growing school community.
At Astley C.E. Primary School, our classes are organised to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. Each class has its own dedicated page where you can find key information about your child’s learning and day-to-day school life.
Our class pages include:
- An overview of the class and what children are learning
- Information about the class teacher and support staff
- Class newsletters (updated each half term)
- Key communication information, including class email addresses
- Guidance on remote learning, where applicable
We encourage parents and carers to check their child’s class page regularly for updates and important information.
Communication
Each class has a dedicated email address for general queries:
- Ash Class – ash@astley.worcs.sch.uk
- Elm Class – elm@astley.worcs.sch.uk
- Oak Class – oak@astley.worcs.sch.uk
- Willow Class – willow@astley.worcs.sch.uk
Please note that emails are monitored during the school day and we will respond as soon as possible. For urgent matters, please contact the school office.
We also use Seesaw to share updates, learning and key messages. We encourage all families to check Seesaw regularly.
Newsletters
Each class shares a newsletter at the start of each half term. These provide an overview of:
- What your child will be learning
- Key dates and events
- Important reminders
Newsletters can be found on each class page.
Working Together
We value strong partnerships with parents and carers. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch. By working together, we can ensure the best possible outcomes for all children.
